Fuel, residues and connected equipment
Fill, vent, supply and return lines can have different roles, and some may still serve other equipment. Redundant connections need to be distinguished from anything that remains operational before the tank is disconnected.
Fuel type and condition determine the transfer and atmosphere precautions. Petrol, diesel and uncertain or mixed contents cannot be treated as interchangeable simply because the tank is being removed.

Bases, enclosures, buried pipework and surface reinstatement are separate parts of the site work and are included only where agreed. A replacement fuel installation also has its own design and commissioning requirements.
