Waste Reduction Services Ltd offer a service that has been steadily growing in the last few years in the provision of Onsite Volume Reduction of Oily/Aqueous Waste. This provides on site services to industry for liquid/solids separation by decanter centrifuge. Centrifuges are designed to remove fine solids from a wide range of liquids. Industrial organisations are moving increasingly towards waste reduction techniques due to the high cost of offsite disposal of many wastes.

In the case of refinery processing, tank bottoms normally disposed off site can instead be processed through a pre-treatment unit and centrifuge to return useable, sellable oil, clean water and solids with a very low hydrocarbon level that can be then either treated using bio-remediation normally on site or can be removed for landfill.
