Given that we have over thirty years of experience in both Industrial Services and Waste disposal we are able to advise clients on various problems that they might encounter. In the last two years we have been involved in the mothballing of many factories storage facilities and petrol stations.

With the ever changing regulations that govern the disposal and transportation of liquid and solid waste, it can on times seem difficult to know where to turn for the right advise. At WRS we have been involved in the movement of waste for more than 30 years, so you can be sure that that any advice given is correct and impartial. We can advise on the correct manner in which the waste must be packaged, transported and disposed of whether it is drums of solid waste or containers of liquid waste, we will endeavor to provide you with a clear impression of the regulations and transport codes.

We can also provide information and advice on the safe removal of tanks, boilers, vessels and underground tanks. The removal of underground tanks, such as those found at petrol stations are particularly difficult to deal with. Often encased in concrete and very often still with fuel residue present, these can be difficult to deal with. To often a gun ho attitude is adopted that can result in fire, death and suffering for many people. With our experience in underground tanks, not only can we clean and gas free them to a condition where they can be safely removed, but we can advise on how to go about cleaning and ensuring that when the time comes for them to be removed they are in a safe condition but we can also issue gas free certificates and air quality certificates.

In addition we can also undertake the work in house from the initial consultation through to the disposal of the fuel, tanks, pipe work and pumps.

In instances where companies are unsure where to look for advice and perhaps don’t want the problems associated with cleaning or tank demolition, WRS would be happy to run the project through from the start. Arranging contractors, training and plant is an everyday part of business for WRS.
